Mike is currently a Varsity Assistant Coach at Miller Place High School.  Mike’s coaching specialties are focused on team-defensive play, clearing and riding as well as goaltending.   A resident of Miller Place he also coordinates their ever-thriving Youth Girls Lacrosse Program.  Besides his coaching duties at Miller Place, Mike is also the President of SCGL (the Suffolk county youth league). The last time Mike coached a travel team was when he coached the Team 91 2024 team. He played a vital role in helping successfully guide his players through the recruiting process.  A teacher for 29 years, Mike teaches at Longwood Junior High School.  He has also coached for the Team USA Developmental Program and The Excelsior Games.

With over 40 years of experience in lacrosse and the last 29 of those years spent coaching both boys and girls at every level from College down to Kindergarten Mike has coached hundreds of players of all abilities and backgrounds.

A 1993 graduate of Sachem High School and a 1997 graduate of Pace University, Mike was a part of very successful programs.  During his college career, as a 2 time All-Conference selection, he amassed 656 career saves (16th all-time in DII) and holds the NCAA Division 2 all-time record for saves in a game (36).
